Brekum Chelsea captain, Zakaria Fuseini has named Dutch international Virgil Van Dyke as his football role model.
The towering guardsman was on bristling form for his side before the suspension of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.
It is uncertain whether football will bounce back or not due to the rapid growth of the Coronavirus pandemic but the Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare has set football’s restart date for September 2020 as the country prepares to return to normalcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking to Bryt FM in Koforidua, the former Black Meteors defender revealed that he models his game on Liverpool defender, Van Dyke due to his calmness in matches.
“I always learn from Virgil Van Dyke and Sergio Ramos. I mentioned Ramos’s name because I sometimes feel his aggressive style of play but I like the way Van Dyke plays. He is always calm on the ball and his style of play is beautiful” he said.
