Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has urged the women’s wing of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and women in general to campaign vigorously for the NPP in order to maintain Akufo-Addo on the presidential seat.
During the inauguration of the various campaign working committees of the party in the Ashanti Region, Mrs Bawumia indicates that there is the need to marry the gains made by Akufo-Addo within the three and a half years being in the office and vote massively for the NPP.
According to her, she has joined several members of the NPP in an electrifying atmosphere to inaugurate the various campaign working committees of the Ashanti Regional Women’s wing, in Kumasi.
“It is necessary for women to campaign strongly for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December 7 polls for the party’s victory,” she said.
“Akufo-Addo, within three and half years have achieved greater than any other government hence this is the time for the Ashanti Regional Women’s wing and women over-all to lead the 2020 campaign to retain Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the office to continue the hard works.”
