President Nana Akufo-Addo has chided the Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, over “ghost” projects captured in “Greenbook” the latter produced.
According to President Akufo-Addo, many of the road projects captured in the Ahafo area are nonexistent citing Bechem – Techimantia-Akumadan road as an example.
President Akufo-Addo said this during his two days tour in the Ahafo region.
At Tano North, the President inspected Adrobaa -Terchire road, Commission of Astroturf at Koforidua near Duayaw-Nkwanta to improve sports activities in the area.
He paid a courtesy call on Omanhene of Duayaw-Nkwanta, Nana Boakye Tromo III, and also addressed a durbar of the chiefs and people.
At Tano South, the President Cut-Sod for the reconstruction of Bechem – Techimantia-Akumadan road and inspected construction of the regional education office at Bechem and Commissioned Business Resources Center in Bechem.
Nana Akufo Addo also assured the people in Tano South Constituency that, he will complete Bechem-Techimantia- Akumadan road within 24 months and also provide a good infrastructure to improve Samuel Otto Senior High at Techimantia.
Road Minister, Nana Amoako Atta told that the NPP administration will rehabilitate all the bad road networks in Tano North and Tano so that, farming activities can improve in farming communities.
