Communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has charged passengers to boldly denounce drivers who over speed on the roads.
According to him, carelessness, faulty vehicles, stress, unskilled drivers, and among others are some major factors that contribute to road accidents.
Speaking on Accra Based-Television, Mr Baafi indicates that driving is about observation, tolerance, and determination hence drivers must have all these aforementioned potentials to enable them to observe any situation that may come on their way.
He admitted that most of the accidents occur as a result of some drivers’ inattentiveness hence passengers should be brave to condemn drivers who drive in such a way.
Recently, two horrific accidents have happened; one in the Eastern Region and another in the Central Region which has led 24 lives to have perished in these two regions within two days as a result of road accidents. We don’t want such a situation to be happening again thus passengers should help identify drivers who drive abnormally.
Mr Adomako Baafi then cautioned drivers to refrain from carelessness in order to stop road accidents.
