Residents of Kyebi the hometown of President Akufo Addo are ready to go on a jamboree after the declaration of the Presidential results.
The residents clad in NPP shirts and white apparel say they will hit the streets to wildly jubilate after President Akufo Addo is declared the winner of the election.
According to them, they were uncertain whether or not President Akufo Addo was winning the election until this morning when results in the media gave them hope.
Ghana went to the polls on December 7, 2020, to elect a President and 275 parliamentarians.
The Electoral Commission is however in the process of collating and certifying results from all 16 regions to declare the winner of the Presidential election contested by 12 candidates including the incumbent President and former President Nana Akufo Addo and John Mahama respectively.
