The Member of Parliament elect for Nkawkaw Constituency Joseph Frempong has called on residents to unite and rally support behind him to help develop the Constituency.
According to him, without unity, the constituency cannot progress stating that he will run an open-door policy for all regardless of political affiliation.
He said this Sunday when he visited several Churches to support fundraising Programs.
The Churches attended by the team were Nkawkaw- Accra Town Presbyterian Church, Nkawkaw Asuogya Methodist, and Nkawkaw Dubai Presbyterian Church.
The MP-elect thanked the people of Nkawkaw for voting massively for him in the just-ended parliamentary election.
Mr. Joseph Frempong Joseph polled 44,067 votes against 14,272 by his main contender Francis Oppong of the NDC while – 14,272 Lawrencia Agyapong Bediako (GUM ) had 813, Osei Yeboah Mark (CPP) polled 235.
In the Presidential election, Nana Akufo Addo of NPP had 42,963 while John Dramani Mahama of the polled 15,238
