2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner, Gladson Awako has set sights on becoming a coach when he finally retires from playing active football.
The 30-year old has had a glittering career that has seen him win several titles at the club and national team levels.
Awako, who has been outstanding in the ongoing Ghana Premier League for Great Olympics believes he has what it takes to be even more successful in coaching, an avenue he will venture into after his playing career.
Asked whether he wants to venture into coaching after playing, he said: “In the future, it is something I want to get into.”
Awako is currently yearning for the Ghana Premier League Player of the Month for December and has to beat competition from Salifu Ibrahim (Eleven Wonders), Augustine Boakye (WAFA) and Benjamin Tweneboah (Elmina Sharks) to win the prize.
