President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah has ardently stated that money shouldn’t be the motivation for people to join journalism else they will end up being in the wrong profession.
He said journalist should seek the true values of the job first, a deep sense of professionalism and all other things shall be added.
According to him, to seek the purest values of journalism, its true tenets and principles whilst dignified professionalism is to seek true success in the long run.
The ace sports journalist made this assertion during SWAG Betway Sports Journalist Conference in Takoradi over the weekend.
