A rainstorm has ripped off some classrooms of AME Zion Basic School and kitchen in Achiase District of the Eastern region.
The classrooms ripped off are class four (4) and five (5) displacing about 140 pupils. The school canteen was also ripped off displacing food vendors.
The incident has disrupted the academic work of the affected classrooms.
The displaced pupils are currently learning under trees.
Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the school for assessment.
Meanwhile, the management of the school is appealing to philanthropists to come to the aid of the school.
