Asante Kotoko trainer Mariano Bareto has praised his players for dipping deep in their come-from-behind win over Dreams FC on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 3-1 win over the Still Believe lads in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The visitors, Dreams FC opened the scoring through Agyenim Boateng from the spot before Michael Vinicius restored parity.
Abdul Ganiyu and Francis Kumi scored to seal the victory for the home side.
At the post-match conference, the Portuguese trainer admitted his side struggled at the early stages of the game but they worked hard to turn things around, hence commending his players for their outstanding performance.
“We feel too much problem, they are come here, they know our key points.
“In the first half we feel too much problem unfortunately we took a goal.
“Stupid penalty but it’s penalty no doubt.
“But we didn’t fall out, we didn’t give up, it was in the hard moment that we start to remember what happened with Medeama.
“But this is why we are working hard, to try to solve this problem.”
Kotoko remained top of the table after Medeama failed to beat Liberty Professionals at the Sogakope in other games.
