Ghana is reported to have lined up two friendly matches against Morocco and Ivory Coast next month to prepare for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers
The team will travel to Morocco to play the Atlas Lions of Morocco in a friendly game and later host Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars were supposed to take on Ethiopia and South Africa in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in June.
But the World Cup qualifiers have been postponed by CAF as a result of the coronavirus pandemic on the African continent.
However, the Ghana FA have decided to engage Morocco and Ivory Coast during the period to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers which kick off in September and the 202 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Cameroon.
Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor is also expected to name his squad for the double-header next month.
Coach Akonnor and his Technical team will use the games to further assess players ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
This will be the second time Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor will be facing the press to announce his squad since his appointment.
