Candidates partaking in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) seem to be satisfied with the first-day experience of the exercise.
Candidates are optimistic they would come out successfully from the examination with flying colours.
Speaking with Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma after the first paper at the Pope John Senior High School Examination centre on Monday, candidates emphasised the questions were moderate and that they were taught most of them.
Some were hoping the rest of the papers would be what they have been taught because they are determined to answer the questions per the preparations already done in revising their lessons.
“The questions are not difficult so we hope to perform well at the end of the day. We pray the rest of the questions are moderate as we had today” some candidates indicated.
About 547,895 Junior High School candidates are taking part in this year’s BECE across the country at over 2,000 examination centres.
Candidates wrote English language and Religious and Moral Education on Monday, 15th November 2021 and are expected to Friday, 19th November 2021.
