Management of Accra Hearts of Oak has confirmed that some players and management of the Club had a severe and acute respiratory infection but is yet to reveal the source of infection.
A statement issued on Thursday, 19th May 2022, states that the situation is now calm as players are recovering from the infection.
However, management commended the playing body for clinching victory in its game against Bibiani Gold Stars on Wednesday where the Phobians won by a loan goal in a premier league game.
It added that management would continue to monitor the progress of recovery and offer the needed assistance with the help of the medical team.
