Residents and drivers in the Kwabre East Municipality in the Ashanti Region say they are fed up with promises by authorities to fix their bad roads despite frequent visits.
According to the aggrieved residents, their marriages are collapsing as they cannot have sex with their wives due to waist pains incurred by the bad road network.
They accused the Government and authorities of taking them for granted by persistent promises to put the road in shape for votes only to neglect them after the elections.
The immediate past Municipal Chief Executive of Kwabre East, Nana Osei Assibey Bonsu has expressed worry about the poor state of roads in the area as it has a negative effect on their activities.
He noted that the lackadaisical attitude on the Kwabre roads could spell doom for the New Patriotic Party in 2024 because the people will be forced to vote against the party.
They are, therefore, calling on President Nana Akufo-Addo, and Road Minister, Hon Amoako Atta to help fix their bad roads.
