Following news that Tiger Eye P.I. has been prevented from screening their documentary, ‘Galamsey Economy’ at the Accra International Conference Centre, the Management of the Centre has come out to refute the claim.
According to the Director of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Vivian K. A. Asempapa, the AICC has not stated that the venue is unavailable for the screening. She explained that while indeed there was a scheduling mishap, the event has not been affected by it.
She has thus called on the general public to treat with contempt allegations that the supposed cancellation was politically influenced.
“The initial confusion was due to a scheduling conflict at the level of the AICC staff and not in any way a political decision as being speculated.
