A member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team and a constituent of Nanton, Iddi Tamimu has said described as “embarrassing”, the position placed by the Member of Parliament for the area, Hardi Tuferu in the 2022 MPs ranking.
Tamimu who made the post on Facebook following the release has stated that the MP’s wickedness, divisiveness and tyranny led the constituency to that position.
“We have never been embarrassed like this. But, it’s not late. Let’s work so hard to end the tyranny, the wickedness, the divisiveness and the bitterness so we can comfortably redeem our glory”, he wrote.
“We cannot afford to leave our home in the hands of wicked and clueless money making vampires of 239. No!”, he added.
The ranking table of performance for Members of Parliament (MPs) in the 8th Parliament of Ghana which started on 7th January, 2021 has been published for the perusal of the electorates and the general public, with shocking positions.
The Nanton MP, Hardi Tuferu who doubles as Deputy Agric minister and is in the house for his second term has been ranked as number 239 with poor performance tag among the 275 MPs and last among his colleague 18 MPs in the Northern Region.
