A section of the constituents in the Nanton Constituency is of the view that Napaga Tia Sulemana, a presidential staffer and Coordinator for Special Development Initiatives will be a better candidate to retain the seat for the NPP in 2024 elections.
Explaining their reason for such pronouncement, constituents said the latest ranking of MPs has confirmed that what has been going on in the constituency regarding the performance of the deputy minister of Agric is true.
The ranking placed Mr. Hardi Tuferu at 239 among the 275 MPs and last among his colleague 18 MPs in the Northern Region as worst performing MP.
Reports from the constituency indicate that the former Nasara Coordinator for the NPP, Abdulai Kamaldeen is also eying the seat.
