The 2nd Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Fanteakwa South Constituency, Nana Akomeah Jnr. has declared his intention to contest the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries of the party.
Nana Akomeah Jnr. disclosed this in an interview with the Press during his Xmas tour of the Constituency where he joined party executives in the various Polling stations and Electoral Areas to celebrate Christmas.
He made the first stop on Monday, 26th December 2022 at the Krobo electoral areas and the next stop on Tuesday 27th December 2022 at the Mumuadu electoral areas where he distributed rice, cooking oil, Mackerel and Tin tomatoes to the over 450 party executives in the Fanteakwa South Constituency.
The visit according to him was to thank the executives for their support and hardwork throughout the year and to encourage them to work even harder in the ensuing years to break the 8.
In His address, Nana Akomeah Jnr intimated that his intention to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the NPP stems from his desire to seek the development and welfare needs of the people of Fanteakwa South through aggressive employment, education and infrastructural drive.
“It is high time as party leaders we work in the interest of the people and bring leadership closer to them. As a party executive in the Fanteakwa South, I’ve dedicated myself towards serving the grassroots diligently over the past years and I have every confidence that my colleague Party Executives would reaffirm their trust in me to lead them in 2024 in breaking the historic 8 year jinx.
Brief Profile of Nana Akomeah Jnr.
Nana Akomeah Jnr. has made positive strides with his political career in the country especially the Fanteakwa South Constituency where he hails from. He has invested immensely in the Education sector of the constituency by partnering with the Fanteakwa South District Education Directorate to undertake numerous projects and donations towards promoting education in the Constituency.
Known as the ‘Grassroots man’ he regularly engages the youth through sporting activities and noted to be the only Political Leader who had organized a feast for over 200 NPP senior citizens with the constituency. He has done these and many more monumental projects towards rekindling the hopes of the party executives at the grassroots level.
Nana Akomeah Jnr. hails from Nsutam in the Eastern Region. He attended
O’reilly Secondary School and proceeded to the University of Cape Coast and offered Bachelor of Commerce for his 1st Degree. He then furthered his education at the University of Northampton, UK, where he offered Msc. Accounting and Finance. He is an Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He is married with two children.
