The Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Operations at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Alhaji Ibrahim Bashiru on behalf of the Agency welcomed the second batch of 5000 personnel of the Community Protection Assistants (CPAs) into training at the various Police Training Schools across the country.
These five thousand form part of fifteen thousand (15000) vibrant youth being recruited to assist the Police Service in maintenance of law and order in the communities.
Assisted by the Director of Technical Services, Chris Joojo Arthur, Director of Corporate Affairs Kwasi Afriyie and the Greater Accra Regional Director of the YEA, Prince Obeng among other Executives, at a brief opening ceremony at the National Police Training School at Tesano in Accra, he urged the trainees to be extra disciplined and judicious during and after the training in the discharge of their duties to earn them a place in the mainstream Police Service.
Commanding Officer of the National Police Training School in Accra Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Samuel Asiedu Okanta assured of the highest standards of training for the personnel.
