“Alan Kyeremanten is a member of the NPP so he will definitely have party supporters follow him whenever he goes out to speak to them”.
“But the truth of the matter is that the delegates he goes out to meet have made it clear to him (Alan) that it is time for the Vice President Dr. Bawumia to lead” National organiser of Friends of Bawumia has emphasised.
Rev. George Opoku Acheampong disclosed this on Bryt fm news when asked about the recent tour by the Flagbearer hopeful.
According to Rev. Opoku Acheampong, the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has proven to be the next successor as the presidential candidate for the NPP and subsequently becoming president after the 2024 elections.
He explained that the Vice president has been successful as far as his recent portfolio is concerned and therefore was optimistic it is the time for him to be the first gentleman of the land after Akufo-Addo’s term.
“My brother, Otumfuo’s advise to him during (Alan) call on him at Manhyia was literally telling Alan Kyeremanten to succumb to Dr. Bawumia as the party and the country at large needs someone with all the expertise and experience” the national organiser stated.
Activities of FOB
On the activities of FOB, Rev. Opoku Acheampong revealed that all regional officers of the group have been launched with the exception of the Eastern region.
However, he was quick to state that, that of Eastern region would be inaugurated on 4th March, 2023 at the Centre for National Culture.
