Edgar Asamoah Boateng popularly called KB finally picked the form to declare his Intention to Contest For Abuakwa North Parliamentary Seat to lead the NDC to victory in 2024 after the former president John Dramani Mahama declared his intention on Tuesday to contest for the Flag bearer race of the National Democratic Congress NDC in a meeting with the Minority Caucus and all old appointees at his office in Cantonments.
KB believes that the only person to put back the economy on track is the Former President John Dramani Mahama.
He, however, seeks the support of the people of Abuakwa North Constituency towards his ambitions to unite for development.
He said, ” This time Abuakwa North must stand for our own to make Ghana proud that’s why I am committed to break the disunited NPP dominance that has rendered the entire nation into a state of shambles leaving citizens in oppression”.
We have an effective campaign message that will unite us as one people to vote with loyalty based on competence to stimulate development in the Abuakwa North Constituency and Ghana as a whole with His Excellency Former President John Dramani Mahama as President and I, Edgar Asamoah Boateng (KB) as your MP, he said.
Charity, they say begins at home and our only strength is to unite as one people.
As a staunch NDC member, my contributions to the party, Abuakwa North and Ghana as a whole can never be over emphasised, he added.
Edgar Asamoah Boateng (KB) announcing his intention said, ” I am coming to contest for the seat because Ghanaians especially the people of Abuakwa North are saying that this is our country and we yearn for the chapter two of a better Ghana by the NDC.
Ghana is fed up with the so called economy management team who can’t even point any single development in the Constituency. We can only achieve to make Ghana speak for the first time if there is unity among us in Abuakwa North”, to claim victory for the NDC in December 2024.
I therefore urge the NDC members to set an example by being united first and then rally behind me to heal the wounds and iron out our differences in Abuakwa North Constituency. This will lead Abuakwa North to victory for the NDC coming 2024, said KB.
Meanwhile, the NDC announced that all is set for the opening of nominations for the election of its presidential Candidate and parliamentary candidate for 2024 General Elections .
As such, effective, midnight Wednesday 22nd February 2023, Nomination forms for parliamentary candidate became accessible to all persons for purchase on the the official website of the party.
