Akwamu Gyakiti Presbyterian Primary and Junior High School will on Tuesday March 21 receive donation from Educate Africa Institute (EAI).
The donation forms part of birthday celebration of Mr. Mackeevan Asamoah Djan, EAI UK Country Director.
EAI has over the years championed for the quality education in Ghana and beyond to ensure that various governments provides schools with the necessary policies and programs to improve upon their academic performance.
Speaking to Bryt FM, Mr. Asamoah Djan indicated that the gesture would go a long way to support pupils by ensuring they also get well impacted as their colleagues in other areas, especially those in the big cities.
He called in other corperate bodies to support the government by contributing their widow’s mite to people in their various locations.
Meanwhile, President of EAI, Mr. William Boadi on his part commended the UK Country Director for the initiative and was quick to add that his outfit is dedicated to the welfare of all people and would therefore continue to work to ensure their well being.
He emphasised there are a lot of programs and projects that would be enrolled in the near future to ensure that citizens are also given the needed attention.
“We shall continue to press on governments to deliver on their mandate in order to make livelihood better for the ordinary person to also survive. We can all help to make Ghana and Africa better place for all citizens” Mr. William Boadi added.
