The Akwamuhene of Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council in Tano North of the Ahafo Region, Nana Boakye Bonsu has caution the people in Duayaw-Nkwanta and it environs not to use the death of Omanhene of Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council, Nana Boakye Tromo III for immoral act and criminal activities in area.
Addressing the public to confirmed the demise of Omanhene in the area today at Duayaw-Nkwanta Palace by Traditional Council and urge to avoid any criminalities and violence .
He added that, All the store’s and Market will be close tomorrow, Tuesday 18th April 2023 and direct drivers, Pragyia Riders, Offices should use red clothes as indication that, Omanhene in Duayaw-Nkwanta has confirmed dead as Custom demand.
Akwamuhene revealed to Police Commander in the area should arrested and person using the Omanhene ‘s death for violence and criminal activities in area.
Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council also banned all the funeral activities, weeding, Beer bar operator’s noise in Duayaw-Nkwanta town and revealed that, they make the traditional custom remain until after one week celebration of the late Omanhene of Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council.
Akwamuhene use the opportunity to appeal to the people in the area should support him as Acting President for Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council after the council appoint him as a care taker.
