Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey could miss the Black Stars AFCON qualifiers in June due to injury setback.
Ghana will engage Madagascar and Central Africa Republic in the final round of the qualifiers.
Lamptey picked up an injury whiles in action for Brighton against West Ham United on March 4, 2023.
He subsequently missed the Black Stars games against Angola in the said month after failing to recover on time.
After losing 3-0 to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, the manager of the club De Zerbi hinted Lamptey may not return to action before the season ends.
This means Lampety is likely to miss the Black Stars games in June.
