Nine(9) passengers are seriously injured after four vehicles crashed at Gomoa Okyereko junction on the Kasoa – Winneba – Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The Accident happened at Gomoa Okyereko in the Gomoa East District on the Central Region.
The vehicle involves are, Honda Civic Salon Car with reg number GX- 4649-22, Kia Cargo Truck with reg number GR-8709 -18, Toyota 4 Runner, GE- 5801-12 and Nissan Urvan Commercial Car GG-2102-23.
Confirming this to Bryt Fm News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service Winneba Branch, Assistant Divisional Officer Grade 1(ADO1) Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie revealed, the Honda Civic Salon Car made a wrongful overtaken, lost control and collided with the Cargo truck leading to the accident.
ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie indicated that, all the victims have been rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
