A 35 year-old-man Kwasi Kyerematen, a.k.a Kwasi Greeley, is currently on the run for allegedly having sexual intercourse with his daughter at Sefwi Kofikrom in the Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
According to report, Kwasi Kyerematen took advantage of his 17-year old daughter and abused her at home in Kofikrom.
It also revealed the victim who is a JHS 2 student accused her father of sleeping with her when the victim’s stepmother was not at home.
The suspect (Kwasi Kyerematen) lied to the victim (daughter) that all he had been doing was part of their tradition and threatened her not to tell anybody, else he will take her life.
On May 7th, 2023, the victim who could nt keep it longer opened up in a public when her father had a misunderstanding with her for holding a cellphone belonging to pragyia rider.
The daughter alleged that the father thought she was dating so he needed to keep her away from making friends, which he abused her and therefore decided to open up what her father has been doing.
Lord FM News managed to speak to the grandmother of the victim, Rebecca Addo who stated that her grand daughter was afraid to tell the truth due to the threatening situation from the suspected father but has lodged a complaint to the police to search and arrest the suspect, Kwasi Kyerematen.a.k.a Greeley.
The Grandfather of the victim Issifu Mensah, also expressed that the victim first came to him and told that her father has caused an incest with her so it became brouhaha in the community which they are yet to poured libation to cleanse the land but is is up to the family to report the matter to the police for the necessary action to be taken.
Chairman Duku, the Okyeame for Bekwai Dabehene for Sefwi Bekwai traditional council in an interview expressed shock over the matter, adding that it is the first of its kind since he became Okyeame, but confirmed that suspect is on the run and has engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim.
