Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and the General Secretary Fiifi Kwetey and other leaders of the party met the leadership of the Police Service team in charge of the By-election in Kumawu in Sunday.
Te short meeting was to reassure them of the party’s cooperation in ensuring a peaceful By-election.
According to the General Secretary, the NDC will not be part of illegal tactics and violence before, during or after the elections and hope the police will be impartial in the enforcement of law and order during the elections.
The Police assured the team that they are the only Security Service managing Law and Order in the elections on Tuesday.
“In unity the entirety of the Party is campaigning thoroughly for a win in Kumawu” Fiifi Kwetey added.
