Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has expressed readiness to depart Southampton following the club’s demotion to the Championship.
Sulemana, who joined the Saints from Rennes in January could not help the club to escape relegation at the end of the season.
The winger was unstoppable when Southampton played a 4-4 draw at the St Mary’s Stadium against Liverpool.
The 21-year-old netted a brace in the final game of the season as the Saints held Liverpool.
After the game, Kamaldeen asserted he will be exploring other opportunities following Southampton’s relegation to the second-tier.
“I’m ready for whatever’s next. If I stay, I’ll stay and help the team bounce back. If there’s an opportunity to explore I will take it,” continued Sulemana.
The former Stade Rennais player scored two goals and provided an assist in 18 matches for the club.
