The communication bureau of the Great NDC – KEEA, called on the KEEA Municipal Health Directorate to ascertain the level of work done in the health sector with regards to the collaboration between the Health Directorate and the Office of the Member of Parliament for the Municipality.
This action was necessary to help give a facelift to all health facilities within the municipality.
Mrs. Catherine Ampah- Briant, the municipal health director gave a detailed record on all projects which have been successfully completed which includes the Recovery Wards (male and female) at Komenda health center as well as renovation of kokwado CHPS compound and soon to commence renovation on Ampenyi, Benyadzi and Egyiekrom CHPS compound.
The municipal health director extended her felicitations to the MP, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills for his timely intervention in supporting the renovation works at Kokwado health facility.
The facility was in a deplorable states due to poor maintenance culture.
Currently, the facility is now conducive for staff to render Community-Based Health Services to the people in the catchment areas.
The communication bureau is most grateful to the municipal health directorate for the audience especially the municipal health director who made time out of his busy schedule to make every data available for our perusal.
