The bankroller of Techeiman Eleven Wonders, Nana Ameyaw Manu has called for government support following the outbreak of coronavirus.
Football activities have been suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The suspension of the football season has brought some financial difficulties to the clubs amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In an interview with Kumasi based Otec FM, he said, “Though the players are on a break they have to be paid. Startimes money is yet to hit our account so we are appealing to the government to support us (clubs) financially because the situation at hand is not our fault,”
“During the Anas expose, the boys were paid while on break, now the players are on break again due to the COVID-19 outbreak. So, I think this is the time government support us in the payment of our players” He added.
