At least eleven(11) passengers are injured in a near fatal crash in Somanya in the Eastern region Monday evening.
The crash involved a Toyoya Fish commercial vehicle with registration number GN 9319-21 and a KIA saloon car with registration number GW 2385-15.
The crash occured close to University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESDGH) on the Somanya-Dodowa.
The Toyota Fish was reportedly travelling from Ho in the Volta Region towards Accra while the KIA was heading in the opposing direction.
The cause of the crash has not been independently established but witnesses claim the crash might be caused by wrongful overtaking.
The victims aboard both vehicles have been rushed to Yilo Krobo District Hospital for treatment.
