The Eastern Legal Team of the NDC would be hosting the 3rd NDC Lawyers Conference which would be held at the Volta Hotel, Akosombo.
On Sunday 20th August 2023, the last and final meeting of the National Planning Committee of the conference met and concluded discussions and finalized all plans for the event.
Speaking after the planning committee meeting, Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi indicated that all is set for the conference and this year’s conference is billed to be one of the best in the history of the NDC party.
Chairman of Eastern region NDC Legal Team Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi would welcome all the participants to a Dinner in the evening of the arrival day at the Volta Hotel.
The official opening ceremony would be held on September 1,2023 which Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi would deliver official welcome address.
As part of the program ,all the various Regional Chairman would provide their reports for each region.
The special guests and dignitaries for the conference includes His Excellency former President John Dramani Mahama who is the flagbearer and leader of the Great NDC party, the Speaker of Parliamentary Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Bagbin, NDC Party Chairman Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketah, the General Secretary Hon. Fiifi Kwetey, former EC Chair Hon. Kwadwo Afari Gyan, the MP for Asuogyaman Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem amongst a host of other dignitaries.
Some of the activities lined up includes discussions on the role of the EC in a free and fair elections, elections monitoring and management, security issues, etc.
Side attractions include visit to Akwamufie, medical screening, visit to Dodi island, among others.
This would be the 3rd Annual conference of the NDC Lawyers which began in 2021.
