Movement For Justice and Equal Right (MJER), a New Patriotic Party NPP youth group in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency of the Western North Region has denied the allegations levelled against the Municipal Chief Executives Hon Paul Andoh by the National Democratic Congress NDC for diverting logistics and farm inputs meant for farmers to improve their livelihood from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch in the Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai Constituency of the Western North Region held a press conference demanding from President Akuffo-Addo to allow the Municipal Assembly Chief(Hon.Paul Andoh) to step aside for an investigation to be conducted for allegedly diverting logistics and farm inputs meant for cocoa farmers and good people of Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai Municipality, to improve their livelihood from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) worth millions of cedis.
The party leadership claim the inputs have found their way conspicuously to tge MCE’s private residence at Sefwi Bekwai instead of the Municipal warehouse at Bibiani.
However, Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman, the Co-ordinator for Movement For Justice and Equal Right has also in a press conference said It was reported that the said logistics and farm inputs was found its way to the MCE’s private residence at Sefwi Bekwai instead of the Municipal warehouse at Subri-Nkwanta and which was not true.
He said it is false and deliberate attempt to malign the MCE and therefore appealing to the good people of Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai and the public to treat the publication as fictitious, malicious and with the contempt it deserves.
“Disregard NDC press conference against MCE Hon.Paul Andoh it’s an attempt to soil his hard won reputation,” he added
He stressed that the Municipal Assembly, through the Co-ordinator Director, has issued a press statement on the matter indicating that the said items were received by the Assembly on 15th August, 2023.
