Ghana international Thomas Partey was not in action when Arsenal played Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday due to muscle injury.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian has been hampered by injuries in the ongoing campaign, missing a couple of games for Arsenal.
Partey recently returned to action after being sidelined with an injury that ruled him out for almost a month.
The former Atletico Madrid star made his return from injury prior to the October international break, featuring in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Manchester City.
But he is yet to feature for the Gunners after the international break, missing both Chelsea and Sevilla games respectively.
“Thomas picked up an injury yesterday in training. Unfortunately, it’s a muscle injury. We don’t know the extent of it – a big miss for us.” said Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta.
