Mr.Seth Gyimah, a parliamentary Aspirant for the New Patriotic Party NPP in the Manso Adubia constituency, has donated chairs to the party.
At a short ceremony at Manso Adubia on Tuesday to present the items, Mr Gyimah, an indigene of Manso Mim in the Manso Adubia District, said he was moved to make the gesture after visiting the constituency office sometime ago.
He called for stronger unity among members and supports of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to enable the NPP break the eight-year rule.
He asked them to put aside whatever happened during the campaign ahead of the recent NPP presidential primary, and work together as a group that was focused on rotenone power in the 2024 General Election.
He continued that the NPP was the only party that could manage the economy efficiently, to bring development to the people.
“In fact, Mason Adubia constituency, we have some challenges in terms of tertiary education,poor roads network,youth unemployment among other are my priority to solve”
Mr Kofi Acheampong, the Manso Adubia Constituency NPP Chairman, described the gesture as laudable and timely.
He thanked the Aspirant and assured him that the party leadership in the constituency would ensure fairness to all parliamentary aspirants.
The constituency Secretary Mr Oduro Nsiah Edward on his part added that the constituency executives would not shun anyone who has an ambition of contesting the parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NPP and added that the delegates at the party’s congress would decide the best candidate for the party in the 2024 general elections.
