The Eastern Regional women organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Shirley Naana Ampem has called on Suhum Constituency executives to stop division tactics, selfishness and greediness aimed at denting the party’s image and derailing the fortunes in the 2024 general election.
Naana Ampem made the appealed during a Capacity Training Workshop on the theme,” Empowering The Voices for Effective Communication”.
She advised, the executives to avoid creating factions in the constituency that could cause the party dearly in the upcoming elections and therefore urged supporters to also desist any actions targeted at creating division within the party.
Naana therefore, tasked the Suhum NDC executives and party faithfuls to be united and close all ranks to ensure resounding victory in 2024 general election.
She told the executives to support the Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Prince to formulate better campaign strategies to capture the Suhum seat for the NDC.
She entreated the executives, party communication members to propagate the developmental projects of Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama-led administration to the people of Suhum.
The Suhum Constituency Communication Officer, Dove Maxwell vehemently denied the allegation and insisted that the executives were carrying their duties, adding that, the executives were United and ready to working vigorously to capture the seat from the NPP.
He emphasized the need for party unity and urged party members to direct their grievances to the appropriate office for solutions.
He also lamented about people peddling falsehoods against the PC and made passionate appeal to the party to stop making wild allegations, saying such behaviors would not help the constituency to capture the seat.
