The Black Queens of Ghana have threatened to boycott their game against Zambia in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers on Friday due to unpaid bonuses.
The players have not received their bonuses from last four qualifying games (Olympic Games and WAFCON qualifiers)
Each player is owed a total of $7,500 from the six qualifying matches as bonuses from wins over Benin, Rwanda, and Namibia remain unpaid.
Per reports, the players are not planning not to honour their game against Zambia scheduled for Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team pitched camp in Accra last Sunday as they prepare for the crucial Zambia clash.
Black Queens secured qualification to the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations last year with an impressive record and hope to add Olympic qualification.
