Former Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong is heading to South African side Maritzburg United.
Reports gathered indicates that his current employers AS Kaloum FC in Guinea have started negotiations with the South African Premier League side for a possible transfer.
The 28-year-old after excelling for the Guinean side since his transfer from Asante Kotoko in June 2019 has caught the attention of Eric Tinkler’s side who will be giving their side squad depth.
Maritzburg who are placed 5th on the South African PSL league will be looking forward to pushing up the league ladder in an attempt to win the league with the acquisition of Amos Frimpong who comes in with vast experience in Africa.
The South African side already have in their folds a Ghanaian goalkeeper, Richard Ofori and will be welcoming Amos Frimpong into their side.
