Co-operative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union in West Akim in the Eastern Region have handed over two Kindergarten blocks to Nyanoa and Adiemra Communities.
This forms part of the Union’s One Community One Project Initiative.
Speaking at the commissioning, President of the Union, Mr. Bennett Kwasi Adu said the Initiative was introduced about four years ago to give over 40 Communities they are operating in it, and had implemented the policy and Constructed Classrooms, Health Facilities, Mechanized boreholes and others.
Giving breakdown of completed projects, Mr. Kwasi Adu said they have handed over Kwao Baah Kindergarten Block, Kwaku Sae Junior High School block, Adwenepa Apeadem Computer Laboratory,Nwamase Community School and Community Center.
Others are; Katayensua Community Center,Ekoso Water project, Abamkrom Nurses quarters, Teacher Ayeh water project, Agyirikwa Community Center, Asafoatse water projects and over twenty similar projects which are almost completed and others have started as well.
West Akim Education Director, Madam Lorreta Akua Ayisi commended the Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union for their investment into education.
