The Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana and Tenmaale Naa of Takpo Traditional Council, join the Chiefs and people of the Takpo Traditional area to celebrate the 26th edition of the Wilaa festival in Takpo in the Upper West Region, on Saturday 30th March 2024.
The event was well attended by Members of Parliament from the Upper West Region, the District Chief Executive of the Nadowli- Kaleo District Assembly, a delegation from grand Tobo, Burkina Faso, Directors and Staff of the Nadowli/Kaleo Municipal, representatives of political parties as well as Citizens of the land of Takpo and its environs.
The Rt. Hon Speaker called on the chiefs and people to remain peaceful and work in a concerted effort to ensure the development of the area.
