2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners, Dreams FC have showered praise on the Ghana Football Association for the unflinching support in their Africa campaign.
The Ghana FA Cup holders has made a huge impact in their maiden participation in the Confederation Cup this season.
The Still Believe lads are one step away from the final, having played out a goalless draw against Zamalek in the semifinals first leg tie at the Cairo International Stadium last Sunday.
Dreams FC will tackle the 2019 winners at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday at 4pm and a win over the Egyptian powerhouse could secure them a historic qualification to the finals.
“I will use this opportunity to thank the Ghana Football Association for their support. Truth be told, the FA has been very supportive. At the end of the campaign, we will hold a conference to give details of support we received particularly from the FA” he told Happy FM in an interview.
Dreams FC are aiming to become the first Ghanaian side in two decades to reach the final of the Confederation Cup.
The last time a Ghanaian team achieved this feat was in 2004 when Hearts of Oak and Kotoko faced off in the final, with Hearts emerging victorious.
