Dr Hectoria Awekyire, Acting Director clinical services on behalf of Regional Director of Health, Dr Winifred Ofosu has expressed much thanks to Mrs Ruth Addo and Hon Gifty Twum Ampofo, MP for Abuakwa north for their efforts building a new health center at Kukurantumi
She said eastern regional health authorities has embrace the facility and said processes are underway to accept NHIS services.
During the commissioning and handing over ceremony, Dr. Victoria Awirekyire however urged authorities to ensure they maintain the facility.
The MP for Abuakwa north, Hon Gifty Twum-Ampofo who supported the facility with equipment and other logistics also spoke to Bryt fm news on why she decided to help and what she actually did.
Meanwhile, the philanthropist, Mrs Ruth Addo told the media why she decided to construct the health centre for Kukurantumi.
The MCE Alhaji Umar Bodinga who was also present at the event was grateful to both the MP and the philanthropist for their kind gestures.
