Media personality, Bridget Otoo has challenged Ghanaians to ‘show their sanity’ during the forthcoming December 7, 2024 elections.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer and vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, promised to reduce Ghana’s energy prices by switching from fuel-based to solar power. This is in response to his promise.
He claims that this will assist in bringing down the exorbitant price of electricity in the nation.
But in response to his pledge in a post on X, Bridget Otoo—a longtime opponent of the current administration—called the next elections in 2024 a “test of sanity” and urged Ghanaians to consider the arguments carefully and rationally before casting their ballots.
“This election is a test of your sanity! Prove to this man you are sensible,” she posted.
As the nation prepares for the December 7, 2024, general elections, several pledges have been made.
Vice-President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, New Force Movement leader Nana Kwame Bediako, and Movement for Change leader Alan Kyerematen will compete against NDC flagbearer and former president John Dramani Mahama.
