As the country is heading towards the 2024 general elections, the lawmaker for Akim Oda Constituency, on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has promised to increase the number of votes for the party to 90 percent in the elections.
To him, Ghanaians must welcome the good vision of the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
On development in the constituency, Hon Alexander Acquah urged electorates to move massively for the NPP, adding that the party deserves to gain 90 percent of votes.
“We, the people of Akim Oda, understand that we must be quiet and listen to what Dr. Bawumia has for Ghana. The NPP deserves 90 percent of the vote if we look around the constituency in terms of development,’’ Hon. Alexander Acquah said during the Dr. Bawumia constituency tour.
Dr. Bawumia, on his part, urged the constituents to vote for him to lead Ghana to the next level of transformation and also vote massively for the NPP parliamentary candidate in Akim Oda constituency.
With the achievements of the NPP government, Dr. Bawumia highlighted that despite the global economic crisis, the government has performed better in all aspects of the economy.
He said that his government will provide small and medium enterprises (SMEs) loans for traders with credit cards.
Oda Nkwantahene and Nana Dwamena Akenteng also commended Dr. Bawumia for his vision for the nation.
He urged Dr. Bawumia to tackle chieftaincy disputes in the country when given the nod.
