The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Lower West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong has filed his nomination form to contest for the seat in the 7th December General Election.
As part of his initiatives to support State Institutions, he proceeded to Asamankese Magistrate Court and donated a Printer and Laptop worth Gh¢26,000 to support Administrative work at the Court.
Addressing the Media,Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong said the NDC will retake the seat from the NPP who has been in the seat since the year 2000 but has failed people in the Constituency.
According to him,the NPP has failed to create sustainable jobs for people in the Municipality for the past years and alleged the NPP only share money to people to induce them ahead of the December Polls.
Mr. Kwame Frimpong pledged to addressed unemployment and flooding issues in the Constituency and will be transparent and accountable to electorates when he get the chance as the representative.
The candidate appealed to members of the NDC not to attempt to snatch ballot box away but ensure that their votes are counted and urged them to join the campaign for victory.
