The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Director of Finance and Administration, William Yamoah, has urged Ghanaians to back Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s newfound political strategy.
Yamoah emphasized the need to abandon traditional politics in favor of one that is problem-oriented, creative, and daring enough to advance socioeconomic advancement and fortify democracy.
“We stand at a crossroads as a country—a critical moment where the choices we make come December 7, 2024, will undoubtedly shape the future of our democracy, our country’s economic development, and our people’s prosperity,” Yamoah stated.
He called on people to reject divisive and insulting politics and support policies that deal with practical problems that people face on a daily basis, such access to affordable healthcare, high-quality education, and jobs.
Yamoah emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s accomplishments, such as the development of drone delivery services to improve access to healthcare in isolated locations. He emphasized that everyone has the right to inexpensive, accessible healthcare, and he applauded Dr. Bawumia’s dedication to increasing healthcare access.
Regarding economic growth, Yamoah cited Dr. Bawumia’s proposal to fund the creation of long-term, well-paying jobs by investing in sectors like manufacturing, technology, and green energy. He urged creative answers that upend the status quo and advance the country.
“This is not a campaign about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. It’s about us. It’s about our shared future,”Yamoah urged Ghanaians to choose a politics that supports audacious ideas and revolutionary change.
