Tony Osei Adjei, Eastern Regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on Voters in the Lower West Akim Constituency to retain incumbent Member of Parliament, Honourable Charles Acheampong and give the Presidential candidate,Dr. Mohamudu Bawumia at least seventy per cent votes on 7th December Polls to give the MP Ministerial Position.
The Member of Parliament is currently Deputy Minister for Communication and Digitalization.
According to the regional secretary, it is possible for the next NPP administration to make the deputy minister a substantive minister, calling on voters to go out in their numbers and Vote for the New Patriotic Party in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Tony Osei Adjei said this at Asamankese during a Health Walk by the New Patriotic Party Organized by Owusua Royal Lodge in collaboration with Amega Sika Phones dubbed “IT IS POSSIBLE MEGA WALK”.
He said Ghanaians should consider Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next president because he is a man with track records and incorruptible who cares about the welfare of Ghanaians.
He said “I have taught in Secondary School before and some time ago, some people could not pay registration fees and others but for the past seven years, free Senior High School policy has saved parents and students who were having financial challenges”.
The secretary said Ghanaians should not make mistake and Vote for the National Democratic Congress because they are planning to cancel the free Secondary School policy, adding, they did the same when former president John Agyekum Kufour moved secondary school to four years, the NDC pledged to review it but later, they moved it to three years.
Mr. Osei Adjei said despite global hardship, Ghanaians can get Diesel, Petrol and Liquified Petroleum Gas to buy under Akufo-Addo and Bawumia administration unlike the Mills and Mahama administration where there is shortage frequently.
The member of Parliament for the Lower West Akim Constituency who doubles as deputy minister for Communication and Digitalization, Honourable Charles Acheampong commended the participants for the Health walk and urged them to move to houses, market places and Schools to tell people why they should vote for the NPP in December Polls.
