On Thursday, November 21st, H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will commission the new 100km Tema to Mpakadan standard Guage railway line.
He is also expected to launch the recently received diesel multiple unit(MDU’s) trains for the commencement of a shuttle service.
According to the minister for Railways, John Peter Amewu, “t is our firm believe that a vibrant, modernized and digitized railway sector is an essential component for Ghana’s quantum leap into the new era”.
“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitization agenda will not only make this possible but it will also advance Ghana decades beyond the reach of our African peers”.
