30 persons have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with ongoing investigation into looting and causing damage to properties in some parts of the country.
Some persons were seen breaking into shops and government institutions during jubilation of the NDC’s victory in the just ended December 7 general elections.
In a statement issued by the Police, one suspect, who was shot by an accomplice during the attack, has been confirmed dead by medical authorities, while an injured Electoral Commission official is also receiving medical treatment.
