A youth activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Moses Tettey Dometey, has called on the appointed Transition team of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to hold a press conference by Friday to inform Ghanaians about the legacy left behind by the outgone New Patriotic Party (NPP) in all sectors.
This request comes in light of former president Akufo-ddo’s recent address to the nation in which he refuted claims that the country is in a state of financial crisis.
As the NDC takes over the reins of government, Dometey believes it is crucial for the Transition team to provide transparency and clarity on the state of affairs inherited from the NPP administration. By holding a press conference, the team can address the concerns of Ghanaians and shed light on the achievements and challenges left behind by the previous government.
Ghanaians are eager to know what the NPP has left for the NDC in terms of the economy, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other key sectors. By communicating this information effectively, the Transition team can set the tone for the upcoming administration and demonstrate their commitment to transparency and good governance.
The press conference will provide an opportunity for the Transition team to engage with the media and the public, answering questions and providing insights into the state of the nation. Through this open dialogue, the NDC can build trust and credibility with the Ghanaian people as they prepare to lead the country into a new era.
